In addition to mid-battle chat, players can utilize text and adorable character animations to communicate with each other in the in-game lobby. Players can then send friend requests and depart on quests together with allies they meet in the lobby. A special guild lobby is also available for members of guilds to socialize and discuss strategies or compare characters at any time. The variety of social interaction options available helps players make new friends – or enemies!

Players can customize all aspects of their character’s appearance, from its weapon and armor to its hairstyle and face. Over 4 billion combinations are possible with the items and parts available at launch alone! Attire to suit the tastes of an international audience, such as American football uniforms, have also been added in preparation for the global release. Appearance isn’t the only customizable aspect of characters. There are five base classes to choose from, each with their own unique abilities and skills. Once characters have reached a certain level, additional advanced classes will become available. Changing classes can be done at any time, letting players vary their play style to integrate any awesome new gear they find!
