Response to Climate-Related Risks

In September 2022, we expressed its support for the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and submitted its response to the “CDP Climate Change Questionnaire 2025” in August 2025. While we intend to steadily advance our information disclosure in accordance with the TCFD framework, our primary focus for enhancing corporate value is the execution of our renewed growth strategy. Accordingly, we are prioritizing the allocation of internal resources toward improving our growth potential and profitability.

Although we recognize that addressing climate-related issues is an important material issue as a company listed on the Prime Market, we operate within the IT and information sector. Because climate change does not pose an immediate operational risk to our specific business model, we will carefully consider our approach to these issues in balance with other management priorities.

Currently, we have not established specific metrics and targets for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Regarding Scope 1, we conducted an emissions calculation and confirmed that we generate no direct emissions from fuel consumption or industrial processes. Furthermore, we anticipate our Scope 1 emissions to remain at zero for the next five years.

Regarding Scope 2 and Scope 3, we have deferred calculating these emissions for the current consolidated fiscal year due to the extensive scope of the calculations and the high level of specialized expertise required. We plan to set emission targets once we have secured the necessary internal resources and established robust systems for collecting data related to our business activities.

 

CDP Climate Change Questionnaire Response

Based on the evaluation of our “CDP Climate Change Questionnaire 2025” submitted in August 2025, we received a “Score D (Disclosure level).” We recognized that this score accurately reflects our current phase of initiatives, as we are still in the process of building the necessary frameworks for collecting emissions data and setting targets, as detailed above.
