Ateam Inc. (headquarters: Nagoya, Japan; president: Takao Hayashi; hereafter “Ateam”) is proud to announce that its smartphone fantasy RPG “Valkyrie Connect”, which has achieved over 13 million downloads globally, will be holding a collaboration event with the “Rebuild of Evangelion” films and “Evangelion Racing”.

The “Evangelion” collaboration event will be held from May 7th. Iconic characters such as Rei, Asuka, Shinji and more will appear in the world of “Valkyrie Connect”. Simply logging in will provide players with exclusive gear for Asuka and other useful items. There will also be an exclusive “Connect Battle” with an original design of “Unit-13” and an event to obtain the exclusive Asuka hero.

Exclusive 10-Chapter Quest: “Ligare of Demise and a New World”!
Defeat “6th Angel <Mystic>” and Obtain “Asuka’s Zwei Knives”!

An exclusive series of quests for the collaboration event will be available. The first half of the tale tells an epic of an “Angel’s” assault on Valhalla while the second half sets the stage for the race queens Rei, Asuka, and Mari! Clear the main story to get the special “Asuka’s Zwei Knives” gear. This 10-chapter quest depicts a completely original story any “Evangelion” fan is sure to get excited about.

Summary of Event: “Ligare of Demise and a New World”
In the world of gods and humans, Asgard and Midgard, a giant life form known as an Angel appears. Attempts to vanquish the Angel are met by an invisible wall that blocks all attacks. The omnipotent god-king Odin senses the coming of Ragnarok and orders his subordinates to investigate the situation. Children who pilot “Evangelions” are found within a deep crater. “Pseudo DMS Unit-13 <Y>”, an originally designed character using elements of both “Valkyrie Connect” and “Evangelion”, will be making a special appearance in Connect Battles. Defeat the boss to unlock it as a playable hero and for “Eva Coins”, usable in “Eva Racing Cards” to obtain collaboration gear and another hero. In addition, item boxes and a chance for “Shinji’s Armored Gauntlet” can be obtained from the special “Connect Blitz” event, “Time of Unification”. “Connect Blitz” events bestow users with rewards based on how many times all users have defeated the boss within a day, making this a great chance to build up a powerful arsenal.
