Japanese to English Translation & Localization

Your primary responsibility will be the localization of our smartphone games/apps from Japanese to English and other languages.

Job Description

  • English translation and localization
    You will work with the game development teams, other localization team members, and external partners to assist in coordinating the localization and operation of our game applications. Research and sharing of market trends is also a regular duty.
  • English user community support
    You will also respond to player inquiries and gather feedback from players via online communities to share with development teams for consideration in future updates.

  • Nearly all of our games and services are developed internally, and staff are encouraged to step beyond the “boundaries” of their assigned job to help the team.
  • Regardless of department, it is easy to mingle and share ideas between peers.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Native level English
  • Business level Japanese
  • Basic PC skills
    Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Familiarity with gaming trends in English-speaking regions
  • Desire to work in a team
  • Experience in localization or translation (professional or otherwise)

Monthly salary of 250,000 yen or higher (open for discussion based on ability and experience)
*Salary includes up to 30 hours of overtime
*Overtime beyond 30 hours is paid in addition to salary
*Possibility for bonuses based on personal and company performance
*Evaluations and chance at salary increase twice per year (August, February)


Nagoya Headquarters

  • Dai Nagoya Building 32F, 3 Chome-28-12 Meieki, Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, Aichi
    Nearest station: Directly connected via underground passage to Nagoya Station for all lines

Flextime System
Core hours are from 10:00 – 16:00
*Typical work hours in a day is 8 hours
*Average monthly work hours in 2018 was 160 hours
